Harf Yolu (TikTok) — Privacy Notice

This notice covers the version of Harf Yolu, a Turkish word game, that you play inside the TikTok app without installing anything. The Android version on Google Play has its own privacy policy (in Turkish).
In short
- You do not create an account.
- Your best score is kept only on your device, in the storage TikTok gives this game.
- TikTok requires mini games to sign you in. When the game opens, TikTok issues a one-time code; our server has TikTok verify it and keeps nothing.
- The game uses no analytics or measurement tool of ours.

The game does not read your name, username, profile photo, friends or videos.
What TikTok processes
The game runs inside TikTok. As the platform operator, TikTok processes information such as opening the game, play time and the ads shown under its own privacy policy. That processing is TikTok's responsibility.
Ads
The only ad is a rewarded ad you choose to watch at the end of a round for 30 extra seconds. TikTok shows it under its own terms. No ad opens during a round or when the game starts.
Legal basis
Your score and the sign-in code are processed to provide the game to you (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
Transfers abroad
The sign-in code passes through a server in Finland (Helsinki) run by our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, and is verified on TikTok's servers outside Türkiye. TikTok states that it may store data in Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland and the United States. Under article 9 of the Turkish data protection law (KVKK) this is a transfer abroad.
Deleting your data
Our servers hold no data from the TikTok version of Harf Yolu, so there is no copy for us to delete. Your best score is on your device: it is removed when you remove the game from your TikTok mini games or uninstall TikTok.

Your rights
Under article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to, and ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected or deleted, or object to the processing.
